HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE

OFSEA | FOASSE is happy to offer a number of esports game titles that range in play-style and platforms to appeal to all kinds of gamers. There are NO registration fees for the 2021-2022 season and most game titles are FREE to download and cross-platform compatible. All games are ESRB approved for this age range.

The following games are officially sanctioned by OFSEA | FOASSE for high school competition:

LEAGUE OF LEGENDS

This is a multiplayer strategy game in which players assume the role of magical “summoners” who settle political disputes with arena-based battles. From an overhead perspective, players control animal- and human-like warriors who use swords, arrows, guns, and magic attacks to kill opponents' minions in melee-style combat.

VALORANT

his is a first-person shooter in which players compete in team-based multiplayer matches. Players use an assortment of firearms (e.g., pistols, machine guns, sniper rifles) and special abilities (e.g., poison gas attacks, electric arrows, ninja-star throws) to kill opponents to complete mission objectives.

Typical game length: 30-50 minutes

Players: 5v5

Genre: Fighting/Combat/Multipliayer

ROCKET LEAGUE

This is an action-racing game in which players drive futuristic cars to play games of soccer. Players attempt to score the most goals as they compete in a variety of game modes (e.g., Season, Exhibition, Training).

Typical Game Length: 5 mins

Format: Fixed 3 game matches - 15 minutes total

Players: 3v3

BRAWLHALLA

An epic platform fighter for up to 8 players. History’s greatest warriors brawl to prove who’s the best in an epic test of strength and skill. These slugfests are salted with powerful weapons and gadgets. Every weapon you pick up changes your style of play

KNOCKOUT CITY

Knockout City is a team-based competitive multiplayer video game whose gameplay rules resemble dodgeball. The player's goal is to attack enemies from the opposing team by knocking them out with a ball. ... Players can dodge or catch a ball that is thrown at them, and they will respawn after getting hit by a ball twice.

SUPER SMASH BROS.

This is a fighting game in which players engage in brawls with characters from Nintendo and third-party franchises. Players punch, kick, and perform super attacks (e.g., giant laser blasts, rocket barrages) against cartoony opponents to knock them off platforms; a handful of characters also use swords, blasters, mallets, and firearms while fighting.

Platforms: Nintendo Switch

Typical game length: 5 minutes (or 15 minutes for best of 3)

Players: 1v1
